Supplying Warehouse Staff for a Growing Indian SME's New Distribution Centre
The Challenge
A growing Indian SME opening its first distribution centre needed a full warehouse workforce, from pickers to shift supervisors, in place before the launch date, but had never recruited at that volume before and had no internal capacity to run the process itself in the time available.
Our Approach
Alliance International's manpower agency sourced and screened the full warehouse workforce against the SME's shift patterns and role requirements, running structured trials for pickers and supervisors before the final selection. Staff were onboarded in phases timed to the distribution centre's own construction and setup schedule, so the workforce was ready exactly when the facility was.
The Outcome
The distribution centre opened fully staffed on its launch date, with the SME able to focus its own team on getting the facility itself ready rather than running a large-scale recruitment process.
