Experience Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in sourcing and supplier management in relevant industries.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
Leadership Skills:
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate suppliers and contracts.
- Ability to conduct market analysis and identify procurement opportunities.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ability to present procurement strategies and results to upper management.
Negotiation Skills:
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
