Job DescriptionThe person is responsible for working with Research and Development team in agriculture industries (including seed,fertilizer, pesticides, and micro irrigation industries) to satisfy the farmer needs.
Experience Requirements:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences, Horticulture, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in agricultural extension services or rural development.
- Experience in working with farmers and rural communities.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, crop management, and sustainable farming techniques.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex agricultural concepts in a clear and understandable manner to farmers.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders including farmers, government agencies, and NGOs.
- Experience in community mobilization and organizing training sessions or workshops.
Analytical Skills:
- Ability to assess the needs of the agricultural community and propose effective solutions.
- Competence in evaluating program effectiveness and making improvements.
Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with agricultural software and tools.
- Competence in using social media and other digital platforms for outreach and education.
