Primary Responsibilities :
- Create and modify woven label designs using MuCAD software.
- Convert customer logos, artwork, and specifications into accurate weaving designs.
- Select suitable weave structures, yarn colours, densities, and label constructions.
- Prepare production files compatible with the factory’s loom specifications.
- Develop labels with clear lettering, fine details, and accurate dimensions.
- Coordinate sampling, review woven samples, and make corrections before bulk production.
- Resolve design-related issues such as poor readability, distortion, uneven coverage, and excessive
thickness.
- Work with production and quality teams to improve consistency and reduce material waste.
- Maintain organised design files, revisions, colour references, and approved samples.
- Follow customer requirements for cutting, folding, finishing, and label performance.
Experience Requirements:
- Hands-on proficiency in MuCAD for woven label design.
- Practical knowledge of woven label manufacturing and Jacquard weaving.
- Understanding of yarn selection, weave construction, density, colour matching, and finishing.
- Ability to interpret customer artwork and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple designs within deadlines.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in textile design, textile technology, or a related field preferred; relevant practical
experience will also be considered.
- Mandarin communication skills for local factory coordination; working English preferred.
