Primary Responsibilities :
2.1 Sales Reporting & Sales Summary Prepare recurring sales summaries for management review. Generate sales reports by item, category, store and other relevant business segments. Review sales trends and identify significant changes in product or store performance. Support management with accurate sales data for purchasing and pricing decisions. Compare sales performance across individual stores and the overall business. Maintain accurate and timely recurring reporting. 2.2 Price & Margin Management Maintain accurate retail pricing across all stores. Verify that retail prices are aligned with current product costs and target margins. Review vendor cost changes and update retail prices accordingly. Audit margins by item, category and store. Identify products with margins below the required target. Identify products that may be overpriced and negatively impacting sales velocity. Review pricing inconsistencies between stores and correct discrepancies. Ensure pricing information remains accurate following vendor cost changes. 2.3 Bulk Price & Cost Updates Manage large-scale price and cost updates using Excel. Review and validate pricing data before importing changes into the retail system. Cross-check imported pricing and cost information for accuracy. Maintain appropriate documentation of price and cost changes. Support periodic pricing audits across all locations. 2.4 Sales & Pricing Analysis Analyze product performance using sales, revenue, margin and sales-velocity data. Identify underperforming products requiring pricing review. Support management in identifying pricing opportunities and margin improvement areas. Monitor product performance by store and category. Provide accurate data to support purchasing, merchandising and commercial decisions.
Experience Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications 4–5+ years of experience in retail pricing, merchandising, bookkeeping, inventory, data management or another detail-intensive, numbers-focused role. Strong understanding of cost, retail price and gross-margin calculations. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable handling repetitive and accuracy-critical data-entry work. Experience with POS, ERP or retail back-office systems. ECRS Catapult experience is an advantage but not mandatory. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including working with large datasets and performing data checks. Ability to identify pricing, cost and margin discrepancies. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
