Primary Responsibilities :
Leadcompleteplant manufacturing operations with ownership of production, OTD, productivity, quality, cost and safety
Drivedaily and weekly production plans against project and dispatch schedules
Improvefabrication output, labour productivity, machine utilization and manufacturing lead time
Controlfactory conversion cost, overtime, contract labour, rework and material wastage
Ensurestrong welding, NDT, PWHT, hydrotest and material-traceability discipline
Drivereduction in NCRs, weld repairs and cost of poor quality
Ensurehighequipment availability through preventive maintenance
LeadEHS,5S,shop-floor discipline and continuous improvement
Coordinate closely with Planning, Engineering, Projects, Procurement, Stores and Quality
Developsupervisors and build a strong second-line manufacturing team
Prepareandmonitor plant budgets, manpower plans and capex requirements
Experience Requirements:
B.E./B.Tech– Mechanical / Production Engineering preferred
15–20yearsofmanufacturing experience
Minimum5yearsinaplantleadership / senior manufacturing role
Strongexposure to one or more of: o Boilers andpressure parts o Pressure vessels / heat exchangers o Heavyfabrication o Powerorprocess equipment o EPCmanufacturing
Strongworking knowledge of welding, WPS/PQR, NDT,PWHT, hydrotesting, material traceability and quality systems
Proventrackrecord of improving OTD, productivity, quality and manufacturing cost
Strongshop-floor leadership and contractor-management capability
ExposuretoIBR/ASME/TPI-driven fabrication will be preferred
