Primary Responsibilities :
Prepare authentic and high-quality North Indian dishes as per established recipes and standards.
Prepare a variety of curries, gravies, vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
Handle Indian breads such as naan, roti, kulcha, paratha, and other traditional preparations.
Prepare and manage tandoor items, including kebabs, tikka, and grilled dishes, where required.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
Develop and suggest new North Indian dishes and menu ideas.
Prepare food according to daily production requirements and event orders.
Ensure proper preparation, storage, and handling of raw materials.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.
Monitor food quality and ensure fresh ingredients are used.
Control food wastage and ensure efficient utilisation of ingredients.
Maintain proper stock and inventory of kitchen ingredients.
Coordinate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team for smooth operations.
Follow standard recipes, portion control, and plating guidelines.
Ensure timely preparation and service during busy periods and events.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
Follow all food safety and health regulations.
Maintain discipline and professionalism within the kitchen.
Experience Requirements:
Experience
Minimum 3–7 years of experience as a North Indian Chef or similar role.
Experience in hotels, restaurants, catering companies, banquets, or large-scale kitchen operations preferred.
Experience in handling high-volume food production will be an advantage.
Education
Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts / Food Production preferred.
Formal culinary training will be an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of authentic North Indian cuisine.
Expertise in preparing Indian curries and gravies.
Knowledge of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
Experience in tandoor cooking and Indian breads.
