Primary Responsibilities :
MIS Reporting - Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports covering all revenue and cost centers of the casino. - Develop and maintain standardized reporting templates and dashboards for management review. - Consolidate data from multiple sources (casino management system, POS, PMS, ERP/accounting systems) into unified, accurate reports. - Ensure timely submission of all MIS deliverables as per the reporting calendar. - Automate recurring reports wherever possible to improve speed and accuracy. Revenue Analysis - Analyze gaming revenue across segments — table games, slots/electronic gaming machines, poker, and any online/interactive verticals. - Track and report key gaming metrics: Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR), Net Gaming Revenue (NGR), drop, handle, hold percentage, win per unit per day, average daily theoretical (ADT), and player reinvestment/comp ratios. - Analyze non-gaming revenue streams: F&B, hotel/rooms, entertainment, memberships, and other ancillary income. - Identify revenue trends, seasonality patterns, and anomalies; flag deviations to management with root-cause commentary. - Support player segmentation and profitability analysis (VIP vs. mass, junket performance where applicable). Expense & Cost Analysis - Monitor and analyze all operating expenses — payroll, F&B costs, marketing and promotions, comps and complimentary, utilities, maintenance, gaming taxes, and license fees. - Perform variance analysis of actuals vs. budget vs. prior periods, with clear explanations for significant deviations. - Track departmental cost centers and highlight cost-saving opportunities. - Analyze promotional spend effectiveness (free play, match play, comps, events) against incremental revenue generated. Metrics, KPIs & Performance Tracking - Define, compute, and track KPIs for all departments: EBITDA margins, revenue per available room (RevPAR), average check, table occupancy/utilization, labor cost ratios, marketing ROI, and customer footfall/visitation. - Build and maintain KPI scorecards for department heads and executive management. - Benchmark performance against budgets, forecasts, historical data, and (where available) industry standards. Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Support - Assist in the annual budgeting exercise and periodic re-forecasting with data inputs and analytical models. - Prepare financial models and scenario/sensitivity analyses to support business decisions (new games, pricing, promotions, capex). - Support month-end close by reconciling MIS figures with the finance/accounting team. - Prepare presentations and board packs summarizing business performance for senior management. Data Integrity & Compliance - Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all data used in reporting; reconcile discrepancies across systems. - Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial and player-related data. - Support internal and external audits with required data and analysis. - Comply with all regulatory reporting requirements applicable to gaming operations.
Experience Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; MBA/CA/CMA preferred. - 2–5 years of experience in MIS reporting, financial analysis, or business analytics; experience in casino, gaming, hospitality, or entertainment industry strongly preferred. - Working knowledge of casino operations and gaming metrics is a significant advantage. Technical Skills - Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas, financial modeling). - Proficiency in BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). - Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation preferred. - Familiarity with casino management systems (e.g., IGT, Konami, Bally/SG systems), POS, PMS, and ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar). - Strong PowerPoint skills for management presentations. Core Competencies - Strong analytical and numerical ability with exceptional attention to detail. - Ability to translate raw data into clear, actionable business insights. - Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to senior management. - High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information. - Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple reporting cycles simultaneously. - Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working cross-functionally with gaming, F&B, hotel, marketing, and finance teams.
