Primary Responsibilities :
Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, inspection, and repair of Sino trucks.
• Attend to mechanical issues and breakdowns as instructed by the Senior Technician.
• Carry out repair and replacement of truck components as required.
• Assist in troubleshooting engine, transmission, braking, suspension, electrical, and other mechanical problems.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and workshop instructions.
• Conduct basic inspections and identify potential faults before they lead to major breakdowns.
• Use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards within the workshop.
• Record completed repair and maintenance work and report any major issues to the Senior Technician.
• Support the Senior Technician and other workshop team members in major repair jobs.
• Ensure proper care and handling of tools, equipment, spare parts, and vehicles.
• Perform any other workshop-related duties assigned by the Senior Technician or Garage Manager.
• Requirements
Experience Requirements:
Qualification & Experience:
• Technical qualification/diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, or related field.
• Previous experience working on heavy-duty trucks, preferably Sino trucks.
• Good knowledge of truck mechanical systems and maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a workshop team.
• Strong commitment to safety, discipline, and quality of work.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when required for emergency breakdowns.
