Primary Responsibilities :
Plan, supervise, and execute day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
Ensure civil works are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
Read, interpret, and execute civil engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Safety, QA/QC, Planning, and other site departments for smooth project execution.
Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site manpower.
Monitor contractor productivity, work progress, and resource utilization.
Check the quality of construction materials and workmanship.
Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned departments for timely resolution.
Maintain daily progress records, site reports, measurements, and other project documentation.
Monitor material requirements and coordinate with stores/procurement teams for timely availability.
Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and other site resources.
Assist in contractor measurements, billing, and verification of executed quantities.
Ensure compliance with project safety procedures and applicable site standards.
Monitor work against project schedules and highlight delays or deviations.
Coordinate inspections and ensure rectification of quality-related issues.
Support project management in achieving project timelines, cost objectives, and quality requirements.
Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, measurements, and site instructions.
Experience Requirements:
Required Qualifications & Experience
For B.Tech / B.E. – Civil
B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering
3–5 years of relevant experience
Hands-on experience in site civil execution and construction activities.
Experience coordinating with multiple site departments.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Ability to read, understand, and execute civil drawings effectively.
For Diploma – Civil
Diploma in Civil Engineering
10+ years of relevant experience
Strong experience in handling site civil activities independently.
Experience coordinating with contractors and various site departments.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Strong ability to read, interpret, and execute civil drawings and specifications.
Mandatory Industry Experience
Candidates should have relevant experience in one or more of the following industries:
Oil & Gas
Cement
Chemical
Sugar
Experience in CBG (Compressed Biogas) projects will be highly preferred.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of civil construction and site execution.
Good understanding of civil drawings and technical specifications.
Contractor and manpower handling skills.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and site documentation.
