Primary Responsibilities :
Plan, manage, and execute civil construction projects from start to completion.
Take complete responsibility for site operations and project execution.
Prepare project schedules, work plans, resource requirements, and execution strategies.
Monitor project progress against planned timelines and milestones.
Use MS Project for project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure work is completed as per specifications and timelines.
Verify and manage contractor measurements, RA bills, work orders, and billing documentation.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
Ensure civil works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Monitor manpower, materials, machinery, and other resources required for project execution.
Identify project delays, technical issues, and execution challenges and take corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and review daily/weekly project progress.
Prepare project progress reports and provide regular updates to management.
Control project costs and minimize wastage and unnecessary expenditure.
Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams for timely availability of materials and resources.
Ensure timely completion and successful handover of projects.
Maintain proper project documentation, records, and reports.
Experience Requirements:
Mandatory Industry Experience
Candidates should have relevant project execution experience in one or more of the following industries:
Oil & Gas
Cement
Chemical
Sugar
CBG (Compressed Biogas) project experience will be an added advantage.
Required Qualifications & Skills
B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
6–10 years of relevant experience; 10+ years preferred.
Strong experience in civil project management and site execution.
Hands-on experience in complete project/site operations.
Strong knowledge of civil construction practices.
Good experience in contractor and subcontractor management.
Experience in contractor billing and measurement verification.
Proficiency in MS Project.
Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and monitoring.
Good knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
Strong leadership and team-management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to travel and work at project sites anywhere in India.
