Primary Responsibilities :
Plan and execute Railway OHE/TRD site activities as per project schedules.
Manage OHE modification works for existing 25 kV OHE arrangements.
Execute Auxiliary Transformer (AT) installation works related to LC Gate interlocking.
Supervise OHE shifting, alteration, component replacement, and wiring modification works.
Coordinate and execute testing, commissioning, and energisation activities.
Prepare detailed daily execution plans, particularly for Railway power blocks.
Coordinate with Railway TRD officials, including SSE/TRD, AEN, DEE, Operating and Safety Departments.
Ensure timely availability of OHE materials at site.
Manage site inventory and conduct material reconciliation.
Supervise contractors, labour, and site manpower to ensure optimum utilization.
Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with Railway specifications and safety standards.
Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and other required site documentation.
Maintain measurement books, RA Bills, billing documentation, and project records.
Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
Improve labour productivity and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
Complete assigned works within the stipulated Railway schedule.
Independently manage complete site execution with minimum supervision.
Experience Requirements:
Required Experience & Skills
4–8 years of relevant experience in Railway OHE/TRD projects.
Strong knowledge of complete OHE execution from foundation to commissioning.
Hands-on experience in:
OHE modification works
Auxiliary Transformer works
Power block execution
OHE shifting and alteration
Testing & commissioning
Energisation activities
Good understanding of OHE drawings, SED, Appendix-G, and Railway specifications.
Strong manpower planning and site execution skills.
Experience in OHE material planning, inventory management, and reconciliation.
Experience coordinating with Railway officials and departments.
Strong contractor and labour management skills.
Knowledge of Measurement Books, RA Bills, billing, and site documentation.
Ability to work effectively under strict Railway schedules and power-block timelines.
Strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and project profitability.
Ability to independently handle site execution with minimal supervision.
