Primary Responsibilities :
Key Responsibilities
Plan and monitor daily production activities according to production schedules.
Ensure production targets are achieved within the required timelines and quality standards.
Read and understand engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and work instructions.
Handle manufacturing processes including:
Machining
Fabrication
Welding
Assembly
Fitting
Monitor manpower, machine utilization, material availability, and production efficiency.
Identify production problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, and Design/Engineering departments.
Reduce rejection, rework, material wastage, cycle time, and machine downtime.
Prepare and maintain production reports, process sheets, SOPs, and work instructions.
Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of production tools, machines, and measuring instruments.
Experience Requirements:
Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in mechanical manufacturing/production.
Good knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of CNC/VMC, machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly is preferred.
Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and root-cause analysis.
Good communication, problem-solving, and team-coordination skills.
