Primary Responsibilities :
● Execute construction activities strictly as per approved for-construction (AFC) drawings, specifications and
the project's detailed work schedule.
● Interpret structural and architectural drawings, and raise formal Requests for Information (RFI) to resolve
any design discrepancy before proceeding.
● Supervise sub-contractors, site supervisors and labour deployed on RCC, masonry, and finishing works to
ensure workmanship meets specification.
● Conduct pre-pour and post-pour checks (shuttering, reinforcement, cover, embedments) and coordinate
joint inspections with the client/PMC.
● Maintain daily progress reports, measurement books, and material consumption/reconciliation records.
● Prepare and submit Running Account (RA) bills and measurement sheets against the contract BOQ in a
timely manner.
● Coordinate closely with the Quality, Survey, Planning, Safety and Store functions to ensure an integrated
execution approach.
● Identify execution risks (design, resource, schedule) proactively and escalate to the Engineer-in-Charge
with a recommended course of action.
● Ensure full compliance with site safety norms under the Building and Other Construction Workers Act,
1996, and the project EHS plan.
● Participate in weekly progress review meetings and contribute to look-ahead planning.
Experience Requirements:
Technical Competencies
● Working knowledge of relevant BIS codes, including IS 456 (Plain & Reinforced Concrete), IS 800 (General
Construction in Steel), and IS 1200 (Method of Measurement).
● Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural/architectural drawings and General Arrangement (GA)
drawings.
● Familiarity with AutoCAD and basic scheduling tools (MS Project / Primavera) sufficient to track and report
progress.
● Sound understanding of RA billing, measurement, and BOQ reconciliation.

● Ownership and accountability for assigned work fronts, in keeping with the Company's team-first culture.
● Structured problem-solving under real site constraints, with a bias for timely escalation over silent risk-
taking.
● Clear, respectful communication with client/PMC representatives, subcontractors and site workmen alike.
● Willingness to mentor junior engineers and site supervisors.
