Primary Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence for real estate acquisitions.
Handle end-to-end property acquisition matters.
Review, prepare, approve, and finalize legal drafts.
Conduct detailed fact-checking and document verification.
Draft and finalize agreements, legal documents, and acquisition-related documentation.
Identify and assess legal risks associated with property acquisitions.
Conduct legal research and provide practical recommendations.
Coordinate with internal teams, senior management, developers, and external legal counsel.
Maintain structured reporting on the progress of due diligence and acquisition matters.
Independently manage assigned matters and deliver work with minimal supervision.
Experience Requirements:
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in real estate litigation/acquisitions.
Strong hands-on experience in real estate due diligence and property acquisitions.
Good understanding of Bombay High Court-related real estate matters.
Strong drafting, legal research, fact-checking, and analytical skills.
Ability to independently review property documents and identify legal issues.
Strong application of mind and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
Candidates from reputed law firms, real estate developers, law offices, or chambers preferred.
Important: This is a senior independent position. Amateurs and candidates without relevant hands-on experience in real estate due diligence and acquisitions will not be suitable.
