Primary Responsibilities :
Operations & Production Management:
Manage end-to-end production processes to ensure on-time delivery (OTD)
and adherence to production schedules.
Implement and maintain strict Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control
(QC) standards consistent with company global policies.
Optimize production lines, reducing waste and increasing efficiency (LEAN /
Six Sigma methodologies).
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) regarding output, cost, and quality.
Ensure full compliance with AS9100 requirements, including internal audits,
corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
Lead industrialization of new BLDC motor products from NPI to mass production.
Establish robust traceability and documentation control systems.
2. Leadership & HR:
Recruit, train, and mentor the local workforce (engineers, technicians, and
operators).
Foster a positive work culture that aligns with the company’s values while
respecting local labor practices.
Manage shift planning and ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and
safety regulations (EHS).
Experience managing culturally diverse teams and reporting to international HQ.
Strong capability in building local leadership and succession planning
3. Supply Chain & Logistics:
Oversee inventory management and procurement of raw materials from local
and international vendors.
Manage logistics for incoming materials and outgoing shipments
(Export/Import regulations handling).
Dual sourcing risk mitigation
4. Communication & Reporting:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Israeli HQ.
Provide weekly/monthly detailed reports on production status, challenges, and
financial forecasts.
Bridge cultural and language gaps to ensure smooth collaboration between
teams.
Ability to report in structured format (KPI dashboards, CAPA, financial forecasts)
Comfortable in escalations and decisionmaking with HQ
Experience Requirements:
Requirements
Essential:
Education: B.Sc. in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical) or
relevant degree.
Experience: At least 8 years of experience in production management,
preferably in the Aerospace / Defiance / electric motor sector.
Global Mindset: Proven experience working with international companies
(European, American, or Israeli firms)
Language: Fluent English (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory.
Hindi or local dialect (e.g., Kannada, Marathi) is a significant advantage.
Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Indian manufacturing
ecosystem, labor laws, and bureaucracy.
Personal Attributes:
Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
High integrity and transparency.
Willingness to travel as needed.
