Primary Responsibilities :
• Lead and maintain the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ensure compliance with customer and statutory requirements.
• Ensure product quality across Press Shop, CNC Machine Shop, Forging, Hydraulic Press, Heat Treatment (SQF), and Assembly operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce customer PPM, in-process rejection, final rejection, rework, scrap, and COPQ through structured quality improvement strategies.
• Monitor and analyse quality KPIs including Customer PPM, Internal PPM, Rejection %, Rework, Scrap, and COPQ, and present monthly quality performance reports to management.
• Handle customer complaints by conducting Root Cause Analysis using 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and ensure timely implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Control in-process non-conformities, incoming material non-conformities, and supplier quality issues, ensuring timely corrective actions with suppliers.
• Ensure timely calibration of measuring instruments and effective implementation of MSA, Attribute Gauge Studies, and SPC.
• Lead PPAP activities and support APQP for new product development and engineering changes.
• Plan and conduct process audits, product audits, internal audits, and support customer and third-party audits.
• Prepare and review Quality MIS, PPM reports, Pareto Analysis, Trend Charts, SPC Charts, and Quality Dashboards for management review.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Purchase, and Suppliers to improve process capability and product quality.
• Lead training and implementation of Six Sigma activities across manufacturing departments.
• Identify and execute Six Sigma projects to reduce defects, improve process capability, and enhance operational excellence.

Preferred Candidate
• Experience in Automotive manufacturing companies certified to IATF 16949 (formerly TS 16949) will be preferred.
• Strong exposure to quality assurance systems in CNC Machining, Cold Forging, and Heat Treatment (SQF).
• Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification or implementation experience will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
Qualification
• B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing or related Engineering discipline.
Experience
• 10–15 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in Automotive, Bicycle Components, or Engineering Manufacturing, with hands-on experience in quality management for CNC Machining, Cold Forging, Heat Treatment (SQF), and mass manufacturing processes.

Skills Required
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Hands-on experience with 7 QC Tools, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP, Attribute Gauge Study, Instrument Calibration, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis (5 Why / Why-Why Analysis).
• Experience in PPM reduction, rejection control, customer complaint handling, supplier quality management, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and use precision measuring instruments.
• Experience in conducting process audits, product audits, internal audits, and customer audits.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and Experience in training of employees and implementing Six Sigma activities across manufacturing processes projects.
• Exposure to Cold Forging, Heat Treatment (SQF), and CNC machining quality systems
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for preparing MIS reports, PPM analysis, Pareto charts, trend analysis, SPC charts, and quality dashboards.
