Primary Responsibilities :
Technical Leadership
Lead the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire Digital Backend solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
Review solution architecture and ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices.
Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards.
Backend Development
Design and develop scalable backend components for Guidewire applications.
Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise systems.
Build and optimize APIs and backend services.
Support application enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
Solution Design
Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
Prepare technical design documents and implementation plans.
Ensure application scalability, security, and maintainability.
Project Delivery
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and project managers.
Support Agile development and sprint planning activities.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Participate in production support and critical issue resolution.
Quality & Best Practices
Maintain coding standards and documentation.
Perform performance tuning and application optimization.
Support continuous integration and deployment activities.
Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement.
Experience Requirements:
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree is an added advantage.
Required Experience
7+ years of software development experience.
Minimum 6+ years of Guidewire development experience.
Experience leading Guidewire Digital or backend development teams.
Experience delivering Guidewire implementation projects.
Required Certifications
Guidewire Associate or ACE Certification in one or more of the following Guidewire versions:
