Primary Responsibilities :
Strategic Sourcing
- Develop sourcing strategies for:
- Plates
- Tubes
- Pipes
- Structural Steel
- Burners
- Fans
- Pumps
- Valves
- Automation Components
- Develop annual sourcing strategies and category management plans.
- Negotiate annual rate contracts.
Procurement Operations
- Ensure timely Purchase Order placement.
- Maintain uninterrupted material availability.
- Monitor procurement schedules.
- Achieve material availability target of 98% or above.
Cost Optimization
- Lead company-wide procurement cost reduction initiatives.
- Implement:
- Alternate sourcing
- Vendor consolidation
- Product standardization
- Value engineering
- Commercial negotiations
- Improve procurement efficiency and profitability.
Vendor Development
- Develop and maintain a strong supplier ecosystem.
- Ensure:
- Minimum 2 approved suppliers for A-category items.
- Minimum 3 approved suppliers for B-category items.
- Evaluate vendor performance and support vendor quality improvement.
Inventory & Working Capital Management
Manage inventory across manufacturing and project businesses, including:
- Raw Materials
- Bought-Out Items (BOI)
- Consumables
- Project Raw Materials
- Project BOI
- Project WIP Coordination
- Finished Goods Coordination
Drive inventory optimization and improve working capital efficiency.
Procurement Governance
- Ensure procurement process compliance.
- Manage:
- RFQ Process
- Comparative Statements
- Approval Matrix
- Procurement Audits
- Maintain procurement documentation and governance standards.
Supply Chain Risk Management
Monitor and mitigate:
- Single-source supplier risks
- Imported material risks
- Long lead-time items

Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate with:

- Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers.
- Recommend vendor additions and removals.

Experience Requirements:
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering

- Business Administration
Preferred
- MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, or Materials Management.
Experience Required
- 10–15 years of experience in Procurement & Supply Chain.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, EPC Projects, Heavy Engineering, Industrial Equipment, or Capital Goods industries preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in procurement and supply chain management.
