Primary Responsibilities :
Quantity Surveying & Cost Management
Prepare and review detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for civil and structural works.
Conduct quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and budgeting based on project drawings and specifications.
Assist in developing and maintaining project cost plans and commercial forecasts.
Monitor project expenditures and support cost control initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
Valuations & Commercial Administration
Prepare and review subcontractor valuations, payment applications, and commercial assessments.
Verify work completed against contractual and project requirements.
Assist in preparing interim valuations and final account settlements.
Maintain accurate commercial records and project cost documentation.
Variations & Claims Management
Evaluate, quantify, and manage variation orders and change requests.
Prepare supporting documentation for variation submissions and claims.
Assist in the assessment, negotiation, and resolution of contractual claims.
Monitor commercial risks associated with project changes and contractual obligations.
Procurement Support
Support procurement activities by preparing tender documents, BOQs, and commercial evaluations.
Review subcontractor quotations and participate in bid comparison and selection processes.
Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure cost-effective sourcing strategies.
Assist in contract administration and subcontract management activities.
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare cost reports, commercial updates, and risk assessment reports for management review.
Support commercial risk identification and reporting processes.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors on commercial matters.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company procedures, and project objectives.

Experience Requirements:
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 3–7 years of experience in Civil Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
Experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, subcontractor management, valuations, and claims administration.
Exposure to commercial, residential, infrastructure, or mixed-use construction projects is preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of quantity surveying practices, construction contracts, and commercial management.
Experience in cost planning, tendering, procurement support, and variation management.
Familiarity with FIDIC and standard construction contract practices is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD (preferred), and quantity surveying software.
