Primary Responsibilities :
International Market Development
Develop and expand export business for Red Chilli and Indian spices across European and global markets.
Identify, approach, and onboard importers, distributors, wholesalers, food processing companies, retail chains, and private label buyers.
Drive business growth across key international markets including Europe, UK, UAE, USA, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Africa.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with international buyers and channel partners.
Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and increase global market share.
2. European Market Management
Manage market-specific requirements related to European food safety standards and import regulations.
Ensure compliance with quality requirements, residue standards, packaging norms, and labeling regulations.
Coordinate with sourcing, quality, and operations teams to deliver products meeting international standards.
Develop relationships with European spice importers, food manufacturers, distributors, and traders.
Monitor regulatory changes and market requirements affecting exports.
3. Export Sales & Business Development
Handle the complete international sales cycle from lead generation and inquiry management to order closure and shipment execution.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and commercial agreements with international customers.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual export sales targets.
Prepare business proposals, quotations, and export sales plans.
Generate new business opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, trade platforms, and market networking.
4. Export Operations & Coordination
Coordinate with logistics, EXIM, documentation, and supply chain teams to ensure timely shipment execution.
Support freight planning, customs clearance processes, export documentation, payment follow-ups, and Letter of Credit (LC) management.
Monitor order execution and ensure smooth delivery to international customers.
Resolve commercial and operational issues during the export process.
5. Market Intelligence & Strategy
Track global spice market trends, pricing movements, crop conditions, and competitor activities.
Analyze market demand and identify opportunities for product expansion and business growth.
Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, buyer-seller meets, and industry events.
Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations to support business decisions.
6. Customer Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely support.
Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and commercial negotiations professionally.
Develop repeat business and long-term customer partnerships.

Experience Requirements:
Educational Qualification
Graduate in Business, Marketing, International Trade, Agriculture, Food Technology, Commerce, or related discipline.
MBA in International Business, Marketing, Export Management, or related field preferred.
Experience
5 to 15 years of experience in International Sales, Export Sales, or Business Development within Spices, Food Commodities, Agri Commodities, or Agricultural Products.
Proven experience managing international buyers and export business development.
Experience handling bulk and container-based export operations.
Strong exposure to European and global export markets.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
Strong understanding of international sales and export business processes.
Knowledge of European food import regulations, food safety standards, packaging, labeling, and compliance requirements.
Understanding of EXIM operations, export documentation, customs procedures, logistics, and freight management.
