Primary Responsibilities :

Job Responsibilities:
 Assist in overseeing production and processing of liquid milk and milk-based products.
 Support monthly production planning and ensure effective utilization of resources.
 Monitor shop floor activities to maintain discipline, safety, and smooth operations.
 Assist in standardization processes for different types of milk.
 Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and ensure 
smooth functioning of plant equipment.
 Help control production losses and maintain them within budgeted limits.
 Support cost control initiatives through efficient use of manpower, materials, and 
machinery.
 Ensure production targets are achieved as per quality standards and timelines.
 Track daily, weekly, and monthly production losses and assist in implementing 
improvement plans.
 Assist in improving equipment efficiency and reducing wastage of raw materials and 
consumables.
 Participate in daily operational review meetings with Production, Maintenance, and 
Quality teams.
 Support stock verification and inventory control in coordination with stores and accounts 
team.
 Assist in root cause analysis for breakdowns, quality issues, and production 
inefficiencies.
 Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO, and standard operating procedures.
 Support implementation of best manufacturing practices and continuous improvement 
initiatives.
 Coordinate with maintenance team for planned shutdowns, preventive maintenance, and 
CIP activities.
 Assist in achieving production targets within defined cost and time parameters.
 Support optimization of manpower and machine utilization on the shop floor.
 Follow technical guidelines and SOPs as per FSSAI and company standards.
 

Experience Requirements:

Required Skills & Qualifications:
 Masters/ Bachelors Dairy Technology / Food Technology.
 5–8 years of experience in dairy/food processing industry.
 Basic understanding of dairy processing operations and plant equipment.
 Familiarity with quality systems like GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.
