Mandate Requirements
Experience: 3 to 5 years of core experience in billing and quantity surveying.
Industry Focus: Proven background in Commercial Office Interior / Fit-out projects is highly preferred.
Education: Graduate or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Technical Skills: * Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (essential for measurement sheets and abstracts).
Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is a strong advantage.
Commercial Knowledge: Familiarity with GST application, retention money, and standard commercial documentation.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to handle multiple project billings simultaneously, and proactive problem-solving.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates should have a practical understanding of site execution to accurately verify quantity measurements.
Must be organized and capable of handling the entire billing lifecycle independently from submission to reconciliation.
Experience Requirements:
Roles & Responsibility
Client Billing: Prepare and submit Running Account (RA) bills and final bills based on site progress. Generate measurement sheets, billing breakups, and reconciliation statements.
Contractor & Vendor Management: Verify subcontractor and vendor invoices against work orders, BOQ quantities, and actual site measurements.
Quantity Surveying: Take off quantities from drawings and as-built records. Prepare variation statements and identify extra items or deviations for management approval.
Commercial Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of BOQs, POs, and certifications. Track bill approvals, payment status, and retention amounts.
Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and the Procurement/Accounts teams to ensure a smooth billing flow and final account closure.
Cost Monitoring: Track project costs, highlight rate/scope discrepancies, and monitor outstanding payments or deductions.
