Salary: ₹6,00,000 Fixed + ₹1,50,000 Variable (25% of Fixed)
1. Role Summary
The Associate Product Manager will bridge the gap between complex agricultural needs and innovative product solutions. You will work closely with the engineering, sales, and ground operations teams to build and refine products that solve real-world problems for the agricultural ecosystem. This role requires a blend of deep agronomic understanding and a strong interest in digital product management.
3. Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
Qualification: Agri-MBA (MBA in Agribusiness Management) from a reputed institute (e.g., IIM-L, MANAGE, IRMA, NAARM, etc.) is mandatory.
Experience: 0 to 3 years. Freshers with strong internship experience in Agri-input, Agri-finance, or Agri-tech companies are encouraged to apply.
Technical Interest: A strong inclination towards technology, apps, and data analytics.
Key Skills:
Domain Expertise: Solid understanding of Indian cropping patterns, seasonality, and the agri-value chain.
Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in Excel and a basic understanding of product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Google Analytics) is a plus.
Communication: Ability to communicate technical requirements to engineers and business benefits to non-technical users.
Multilingual: Proficiency in Hindi and English is required; knowledge of a regional language (Marathi, etc.) is an advantage for field research.

2. Key Responsibilities
Product Discovery & Research
Conduct market research and field visits to understand the pain points of farmers, traders, and agri-stakeholders.
Translate field observations into actionable product features and user stories.
Analyze competitor products and emerging trends in the Global and Indian Agri-Tech space.
Product Lifecycle Management
Support the Senior Product Manager in defining the product roadmap and prioritizing features.
Work with the tech team to oversee the development, testing, and rollout of new app/web features.
Manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process to ensure the product is "field-ready."
Data-Driven Insights
Track product usage metrics and user behavior to identify areas for improvement.
Create reports on product performance and present insights to the leadership team.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design product communication and training materials for the ground team.
