Position Overview

The Assistant Subject Matter Expert (ASME) acts as a bridge between foundational operations and advanced technical knowledge. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data/content, mentoring junior associates, and solving complex queries within your specific domain. This role requires a high degree of accuracy and a passion for deep-diving into technical details.

 

Candidate Profile

Experience & Education:

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a specialized domain (e.g., Finance, STEM, Legal, or Customer Operations).

Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate in a relevant field (B.Sc/M.Sc, B.Com/M.Com, B.E/B.Tech).

Key Skills:

Analytical Thinking: Ability to spot patterns and identify root causes of errors.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and domain-specific software (e.g., Tally, CRM tools, or Authoring tools).

Attention to Detail: High level of precision in data handling and content review.

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance & Review

Conduct meticulous reviews of outputs produced by the operations team to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance with guidelines.

Identify recurring errors and provide structured feedback to improve overall team quality.

2. Domain Support & Problem Solving

Serve as the first point of contact for complex technical or process-related queries.

Research and resolve escalated issues using internal databases and external resources.

3. Content/Process Development

Assist in creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or educational materials.

Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into the internal workflow.

4. Training & Mentorship

Support the Senior SME in training new hires on domain-specific tools and methodologies.

Assist in the development of training modules and assessment tests.

5. Reporting

Maintain daily and weekly performance trackers.

Analyze quality trends and present findings during team meetings.
