Job Description:
Contractor and Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and select qualified contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for residential construction projects.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with contractors and vendors, ensuring clear deliverables and timelines.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, fostering a collaborative and communicative environment.
- Monitor and evaluate contractor performance, including adherence to project schedules, compliance with safety regulations, and quality of workmanship.
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that project designs, specifications, and requirements are effectively conveyed to contractors.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues or delays in construction progress, working with contractors to find timely solutions.
Budget and Cost Control:
- Manage project budgets and control costs by monitoring contractor expenses, change orders, and resource allocation.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Oversee the documentation of contractor activities, progress reports, and project milestones.
