Primary Responsibilities :
Job Description: The Dry Bulk Commercial Manager will be responsible for the chartering (Voyage & TC) and commercial operation of dry bulk vessels (Handymax, Supramax & Kamsarmax). The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chartering of dry bulk vessels (Voyage & TC)
- Commercial operation of dry bulk vessels
- Negotiating demurrage, despatch, and damage cargo claims
- Settlement of PDA & FDA
- Understanding and implementation of P&I club policies related to cargo claims
- Familiarity with Shell time, NYPE, GENCON, FETICON, and other time charter & voyage charter party agreements
- Knowledge of national & international trade requirements, including port-specific information
- Understanding of Rightship rating & its impact on vessel trading
