Primary Responsibilities :
Collaborate with instructional designers, content developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of mathematics content.
Review and evaluate existing mathematics curriculum materials to identify areas for improvement and update content as needed.
Develop assessments, exercises, and activities to enhance learning outcomes and promote student engagement in mathematics.
Stay informed about current trends and best practices in mathematics education, and incorporate relevant research findings into curriculum development.
Provide training and support to educators and instructional staff on effective teaching strategies and the implementation of mathematics curriculum.
Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development activities to stay updated on organizational goals and initiatives.
Collaborate with other SMEs and team members to integrate mathematics content with other subject areas and interdisciplinary projects.
Contribute to the development of standards-aligned mathematics assessments and ensure alignment with curriculum objectives.
Assist in the creation of educational resources, including videos, simulations, and interactive learning tools, to support mathematics instruction.
Desired Skills:
Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational publishing, preferably in mathematics education.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively about mathematics concepts and applications.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Experience working with educators, students, or educational institutions preferred.
Familiarity with educational standards and frameworks, such as Common Core State Standards, and experience aligning curriculum materials with these standards.
Proficiency in technology tools and software applications commonly used in mathematics education, such as graphing calculators, mathematical software, and learning management systems.
