Knead & Frost - The premier Culinary
school, Chennai - Adyar is looking for a
passionate and experienced Pastry Chefs to
train the candidates joining the Culinary
institute to learn professional Baking.
The Chef will be responsible for creating a
delectable selection of menus, ensuring they
are of the highest quality and train the
candidates joining our school to meet high
standards of learning.
This role presents an excellent opportunity
for a talented chef to leave their mark on our
culinary training school offerings and if
proved we would be extending their scope to
our FMCG perimeter as head chef.
Key Responsibilities:
Recipe Development: Develop and refine
recipes for a variety of baked goods,
including cookies, pastries, cakes, and
confectionery for the existing course
modules. Ensure that the taste, texture, and
presentation meet our standards of
excellence.
Training: Training the candidates to attain
excellence in the opted courses and
managing all aspects of the teaching aspects
right from theory, mixing and baking to
decorating and presentation and help them to
participate in culinary competitions.
Maintain a clean and organized work
environment.
Quality Control: Implement strict quality
control measures to maintain the consistency
and excellence of our baked products.
Monitor ingredients, storage, and production
processes to ensure high standards are met.
Menu Innovation: Collaborate with the food
technology head to continuously innovate
and expand our menu with international and
special offerings that keep customers excited
about our niche trainings and help them
attain the industry standards
Team Leadership: high level of maturing and
integrity providing guidance, training, and
support to ensure a harmonious and
productive work environment.
Inventory Management: Manage ingredient
procurement and maintain proper stock
levels, ensuring efficient use of resources
while minimizing waste.
Hygiene and Safety: Maintain strict
adherence to food safety and hygiene
standards, both in the preparation and in
delivery.

Desired Skills:
Qualifications:
Diploma or graduate who has Proven
experience as a Chef, Pastry Chef, or in a
similar role from star hotels
Strong expertise in baking techniques,
including French pastry, chocolates ,cakes,
cookies, and bread.
Creative and innovative mindset with a
passion for delivering exceptional flavors
and presentation.
Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
Good communication and resilience
Knowledge of food safety regulations and

- Experience in high-volume production environments is preferred.
Technical Skills:

Creativity:
