Primary Responsibilities :
Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan for West, North and East regions
that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
ï‚· Develop, support and groom reportee sales managers so as to create a strong sales
team
ï‚· Achieving growth and hitting sales targets successfully.
ï‚· Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with
them and understanding their needs by providing solutions.
ï‚· Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products
and competition status.
ï‚· Being the face of IPG Photonics, it is extremely essential to be disciplined &
courteous in terms of response, communication & documentation, key being the
quality and speed
ï‚· Educate customer about the various features of IPG products
ï‚· Act and behave in line with the guiding principles of IPG Photonics
ï‚· Responsible for support to marketing activities like exhibitions, seminars etc.
ï‚· Be pro-active in networking within the areas and zones to learn from each other and
replicate best practices.
ï‚· Maintaining decorum and discipline in West office.
ï‚· Reporting to west office on time on non-field days.
ï‚· Ensuring customers are handled properly during customers visit to West office.
ï‚· Operations, Inventory and other activities at West office are functioning smoothly
and reports as required are generated on time.
ï‚· Plan and prepare well in advance for all the activities like customer visits, providing
samples as per the defined process for a superior customer experience.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge on engineering operations and production processes will be preferred.
ï‚· Knowledge of our or competitor Lasers.
ï‚· Should have dealt with sales of high and low value products.
ï‚· Open to travel to customer locations to discuss and provide support to customer
and provide feedback to Sales, Service, Finance and Application teams.
ï‚· Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Emphasizing Excellence, Energy Level,
Negotiation, Prospecting Skills, Meeting Sales Goals, Creativity, Sales Planning,

Experience Requirements:
