Alliance Recruitment co-founder Pallavi Chawla (MBA 2010) has been recognised in the Entrepreneurship category for building stronger teams through innovation, strategy and global talent.
We are proud to share that Pallavi Chawla, co-founder of Alliance Recruitment and a Cardiff University MBA graduate (2010), has been named a winner of the University’s 2026 30(ish) Awards.
The awards celebrate alumni who are making a positive impact in their communities, all before they hit 30. Well, 30(ish).
What Are the Cardiff University 30(ish) Awards?
Now in their fifth year, the 30(ish) Awards honour change-makers, innovators and trailblazers from Cardiff University’s global alumni network. This year the University received over 200 nominations, which shows how much talent and social impact there is among Cardiff graduates around the world.
Being selected from a field that strong is a real achievement in itself.
Why Pallavi Chawla Won in the Entrepreneurship Category
Pallavi was recognised in the Entrepreneurship category as a co-founder building stronger teams through innovation, strategy and global talent. That description sums up what recruitment, done properly, is about. Hiring is not just filling a vacancy. It is about helping organisations find the right people, in the right markets, at the right time.
Her work as a co-founder reflects that approach: strategic thinking, a global outlook, and a focus on long-term business outcomes for clients.
In Her Words
“It’s an honour to be recognised by Cardiff University alongside so many inspiring alumni,” said Pallavi Chawla. “My time at Cardiff helped shape my journey as an entrepreneur, and I’m proud to be part of a community that values innovation and impact.”
The Awards Ceremony
The winners will return to Cardiff in November to receive their awards at a special ceremony. It will be hosted by the University’s Chair of Council, Pat Younge (BSc 1987), and emceed by the Chancellor, Laura Trevelyan (PgDip 1991, Hon 2022).
Barry Sullivan, Head of Alumni Relations at Cardiff University, said: “Every year the 30(ish) Awards just keep getting better, and 2026 is no exception. We’ve been blown away by the quality of nominations and the inspiring things Cardiff alumni are doing around the world.”
