Primary Responsibilities :
A. End-to-End FMCG Web Application Development
● Custom Web Portals: Building and maintaining enterprise web applications for Distributor
Management Systems (DMS), Super Stockist ordering portals, and Sales Force Automation
(SFA) dashboards.
● Full-Stack Architecture: Architecting scalable front-end and back-end web frameworks
(React.js, Node.js, Python/Django, PHP/Laravel, or .NET Core).
● Database Management: Designing and optimizing relational and non-relational databases
(MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) for handling high-volume FMCG transaction logs.
B. Process Automation & System Integration
● Workflow Automation: Automating repetitive sales and operational workflows, including
daily primary/secondary order booking, automated billing sync, trade scheme approvals, and
claim settlements.
● API Development & ERP Integration: Developing RESTful APIs and Webhooks to
integrate custom web applications with ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Microsoft Dynamics) and
CRM platforms.
● Automation Tools & Bots: Implementing Python scripts, RPA (Robotic Process
Automation), and automated email/WhatsApp notification systems for real-time dispatch
alerts and target tracking.
C. Field Sales Force & Distribution Tech Support
● Building and managing web interfaces for PJP (Permanent Journey Plan) tracking,
geo-fencing validation, beat planning, and live stock availability for field staff (ASM/SO).
● Integrating payment gateway APIs for instant distributor ledger updates and credit limit
enforcement.
● Managing security protocols, role-based access controls (RBAC), and user authentication
across distributed user groups.
D. Analytics, Dashboards & System Maintenance
● Creating interactive executive dashboards and automated MIS reporting modules (Power BI /
Custom Charting JS).
● Monitoring cloud server infrastructure (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud), managing web hosting,
SSL certifications, and ensuring 99.9% uptime.
● Bug fixing, system performance tuning, and regular code refactoring for seamless
operational speed.
Experience Requirements:
Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, IT, MCA, or equivalent technical degree.
● Experience: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in Web Application Development &
Process Automation, with strong exposure to FMCG distribution networks and sales
workflows.
● Tech Stack Mastery:
○ Languages & Frameworks: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, PHP, React.js, Node.js /
Express, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap/Tailwind.
○ Database & Cloud: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS), Docker.
○ Automation & APIs: REST/SOAP APIs, Python Scripting, Selenium/RPA, Postman,
Webhooks.
○ ERP Sync: Experience with SAP/Tally API connectors and SFA tools.
● Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of primary/secondary FMCG sales cycles,
distributor management, and field force tracking systems.
