Primary Responsibilities :
Factory Setup & Operational Execution
Lead factory setup and infrastructure readiness activities.
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and external agencies to ensure timely execution.
Develop operational plans, timelines, and milestones for setup and launch.
Ensure smooth coordination across departments to achieve project objectives.
Licensing & Regulatory Compliance
Manage required licenses, statutory approvals, and regulatory clearances for factory operations.
Coordinate with relevant government departments, regulatory authorities, and consultants.
Track approval timelines and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Product Certifications
Coordinate product testing, certification, and compliance requirements.
Work with certification agencies, laboratories, technical teams, and external consultants.
Ensure required product approvals are obtained within planned timelines.
Vendor Management & Procurement
Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
Manage procurement activities, quotations, negotiations, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and services required for setup and operations.
Monitor vendor performance, quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with engineering, production, quality, finance, procurement, HR, and management teams.
Drive execution of operational plans and resolve coordination or implementation issues.
Provide regular progress updates, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
Establish processes and systems to support efficient operations.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in operations, factory setup, project execution, or manufacturing operations.
Experience managing factory setup, licensing, regulatory approvals, and product certifications.
Strong vendor management, procurement, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple activities, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
Strong planning, execution, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Battery, energy storage, BESS, or related manufacturing industry experience will be preferred.
