Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Job Views:
Created Date: 2026-11-04
End Date: 2027-02-04
Experience: 2 - 4 years
Salary: 600000
Industry: Techonology
Openings: 1
Primary Responsibilities :
1. Build target lists of businesses worth approaching: restaurants, clinics, salons, retail, coaching centres, real estate and travel, plus multi-location brands such as education groups, hospital chains, franchises and agencies.
2. Run outbound every day across calls, email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp. Volume matters in this role and so does the quality of the message.
3. Respond to inbound leads and trial sign-ups quickly. Speed of first response decides most of these.
4. Qualify properly before you pass anything on. Understand the business, who decides, what they spend today and what is actually broken for them.
5. Book qualified meetings for the Sales Head and brief him so he walks in already knowing the account.
6. Hit an agreed monthly target for qualified meetings booked.
7. Keep the CRM current. Every lead, every conversation, every next step, the same day.
8. Test and improve the outreach itself: subject lines, openers, call scripts, sequences, and report what is working.
9. Bring the market back to us: the objections you hear, what people will not pay for, and where we lose.
Experience Requirements:
1. Two to four years in an SDR, inside sales, lead generation or telesales role, selling to businesses in India. B2B software or SaaS is ideal.
2. A record of hitting an activity or meetings target. Be ready to walk us through your actual numbers.
3. You are comfortable on the phone with a business owner who is busy, not technical and did not ask to hear from you.
4. Clear spoken and written English. Telugu or Hindi is a strong advantage for this market.
5. You follow up. Most of these conversations start on the fifth attempt, not the first.
6. You write a short, specific outreach message rather than a long generic one.
7. An honest pipeline. We would far rather hear that a lead is dead than watch it sit in the CRM.
8. You are organised enough to run a few hundred open conversations without losing any of them.
9. Practical knowledge of digital marketing is mandatory.
Good to have
1. Sold a monthly subscription product to small and medium businesses.
2. Sold marketing, design or social media services.
3. Worked at an early-stage company where the process did not exist yet and you helped build it.
4. Used Zoho CRM or HubSpot every day.
5. Comfortable using AI tools in your own work to research accounts and draft outreach faster.
6. Prior professional experience executing digital marketing campaigns.
