Primary Responsibilities :
Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and controls during terminal operations.
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and HSE audits.
Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy requirements, local regulations, and international HSE standards.
Support vessel operations, RTG movements, lifting activities, and hazardous cargo handling.
Monitor high-risk activities and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems to ensure safe execution of work.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain HSE documentation, including JSA, risk assessments, permits, site inspection reports, checklists, and training records.
Ensure compliance with applicable SC-LAS, MARPOL, and IMDG codes.
Experience Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field.
NEBOSH IGC mandatory, or an equivalent recognised HSE qualification.
Minimum 5 years of experience in container terminal operations.
At least 3 years of experience in a Safety Officer / HSE role.
Valid HSE certifications and supporting documents.
Strong knowledge of terminal operations, lifting activities, and hazardous cargo handling.
