Primary Responsibilities :
Design and drive the high-level architecture for the EGM platform and supporting backend systems
Define scalable communication models between machines, backend services, and operational platforms
Architect real-time communication and synchronization frameworks
Design resilient offline-first systems with recovery and retry mechanisms
Define hardware communication abstraction and integration approaches
Design OTA/update frameworks for machine software, configurations, and packages
Lead backend and platform engineering discussions across teams
Review and improve system reliability, scalability, observability, and performance
Work closely with frontend, backend, DevOps, infrastructure, hardware, and product teams
Drive engineering best practices, architecture governance, and technical planning
Mentor developers and guide execution across multiple modules and teams
Participate in solution planning, technical estimations, and delivery strategy
Experience Requirements:
Strong experience in backend and platform engineering
Hands-on experience designing scalable distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
Strong understanding of real-time communication systems, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing
Experience building highly available, fault-tolerant, and resilient platforms
Strong system design and solution architecture capabilities
Experience working on complex web platforms, backend frameworks, APIs, and enterprise applications
Ability to design communication frameworks between machines/devices and cloud/backend systems
Good understanding of networking concepts, synchronization models, and offline-first architectures
Experience designing secure and scalable integration layers
Strong debugging, performance optimization, and production support skills
Experience leading technical discussions, architecture decisions, and engineering execution
Ability to mentor developers and coordinate across frontend, backend, DevOps, infrastructure, and hardware-facing teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with ownership-driven execution
Nice to Have
Experience working on machine-connected systems, IoT, industrial automation, gaming systems, kiosks, or device-integrated platforms
Exposure to OTA/update systems and remote device management
Experience with messaging systems, event buses, or pub/sub architectures
Understanding of hardware communication concepts and edge-device integration
Experience working with cloud-native and scalable infrastructure environments
Familiarity with telemetry, monitoring, diagnostics, and operational tooling
Exposure to offline synchronization and distributed recovery strategies
Experience handling production-scale deployments and operational platforms
