Primary Responsibilities :
• Design and develop innovative formwork, falsework, shoring, and scaffolding systems
for construction applications.
• Develop engineering concepts, prototypes, and standardized modular systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design
documentation.
• Conduct product validation, prototype testing, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, project execution, and quality teams
to ensure product feasibility and optimization.
• Research new materials, technologies, and construction techniques to improve
product performance and efficiency.
• Drive product improvement initiatives based on site feedback, operational
challenges, and market requirements.
• Support value engineering and cost optimization activities.
• Develop reusable engineering tools, templates, and automated calculation sheets for
productivity enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, safety requirements, and
engineering best practices.
• Participate in innovation initiatives, technical presentations, and patent-related
documentation where applicable.
Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mech Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience in formwork design, temporary works engineering, or
R&D/product development within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of RCC construction, structural systems, and temporary works
engineering.
• Experience in modular formwork systems and product engineering preferred.
• Technical Skills
• Proficiency in:
o AutoCAD
o Inventor (preferred)
o MS Excel
• Strong knowledge of:
o Formwork and scaffolding systems
o Steel/aluminum structural components
o Load analysis and connection detailing
o Fabrication and manufacturing concepts
• Familiarity with systems such as:
o PERI
o Doka
o ULMA
o MEVA
o Similar modular formwork systems
• Preferred Skills
• Experience in R&D, innovation, or product development environments.
• Knowledge of prototype development and testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop practical and scalable engineering solutions.
• Good communication and technical presentation abilities.
