Primary Responsibilities :
ROLE
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
- Ensure application quality through UI, API, database, integration, and regression testing.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure issues are properly resolved.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Continuously improve test coverage, automation stability, and testing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and identify test scenarios.
- Create detailed test cases and test plans.
- Develop automation scripts using Java + Selenium/Playwright + TestNG.
- Maintain automation frameworks using POM, BDD, and reusable utilities.
- Perform API testing using Rest Assured/Postman.
- Perform database testing using SQL queries.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Investigate automation failures and identify root causes.
- Report and track defects using Jira.
Experience Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.
- Strong programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium or Playwright.
- Experience with TestNG/JUnit and automation framework development.
- Good understanding of Page Object Model (POM), BDD, and reusable framework design.
- Strong knowledge of API testing using Rest Assured/Postman.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools.
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect life cycle.
- Experience working with Jira or similar defect-management tools.
- Basic knowledge of performance testing using JMeter is preferred.
- Basic understanding of Docker and cloud testing is an advantage.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to understand requirements and convert them into effective manual and automated test
