Primary Responsibilities :
Market Intelligence: Spend full-time hours "scrubbing" the internet, reading forums
(such as Reddit) and news sources (like Inc42) to track sector developments.
● Weekly Reporting: Compile a weekly report for the partners summarizing what is
happening on the ground in the tech sector.
● On-Ground Scouting: actively visit campuses (e.g., IIT Madras), stay at incubators,
and attend angel meets or tech events to gather intelligence.
● Deep Dives: Investigate specific ideas or companies sent by partners (described as
"brain farts") and return a thorough ~5-page report within 48 hours.
● Deal Flow: Identify early-stage opportunities (pre-seed) and "diamonds in the
haystacks" before they reach major investment rounds.
Candidate Profile
● Demographics: Young professionals or recent graduates (university students aged
19–21 are also acceptable).
Experience Requirements:
● Attitude: Needs to be energetic, willing to hustle (e.g., travel to campuses, wait in
offices), and capable of spotting "delusional" but high-potential founders.
● Availability: Must be able to commit to 40 hours a week of dedicated research.
● Skill Set: Strong research capabilities, ability to synthesize information quickly, and a
deep interest in defense, space, or software sectors
