Primary Responsibilities :
• Build financial models from scratch (DCF, projections, cap tables, sensitivity analysis) for companies
raising capital
• Build investor pitch decks: market sizing, unit economics, financials, and the narrative that ties them
together
• Run industry and company research to support deal positioning and investor targeting
• Own parts of investor outreach: shortlist relevant investors, maintain outreach trackers, run email and
LinkedIn campaigns
• Speak directly with founders to pull data, validate assumptions, and pressure test the story before it
goes to investors
• Handle investor communication: fielding questions, follow ups, and relationship management through
the raise
• Track pipeline and outreach status across multiple live mandates in parallel
Experience Requirements:
Requirements
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong Excel modeling skills, able to build a model from a blank sheet, not just edit a template
• Experience building pitch decks in PowerPoint and translating numbers into an investor narrative
• Prior exposure to fundraising, investor outreach, or IB/VC/PE deal process
• Strong verbal and written communication, comfortable on calls with founders and investors
• Independent research ability: can size a market and profile a sector or company without hand holding
• Organized enough to run several live deals at once without dropping a thread
Good to Have
• Prior stint at a boutique IB, VC, or a startup finance/founder's office team
• Existing network or exposure to the startup and investor ecosystem
