Primary Responsibilities :
• Lead end-to-end architectural design, from concept development through to construction documentation and site execution.
• Prepare design proposals, drawings, 3D visualizations, and presentations for client and management review.
• Ensure all designs comply with local building bye-laws, zoning regulations, and National Building Code (NBC) standards.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to ensure integrated and buildable design solutions.
• Oversee site supervision, quality control, and construction progress to ensure alignment with approved designs.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation in coordination with project management teams.
• Liaise with government authorities for necessary approvals, sanctions, and statutory clearances.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and design staff, reviewing their work for quality and accuracy.
• Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and present design solutions.
• Incorporate sustainable design practices, local context, and vastu-sensitive planning principles where applicable.
Experience Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognised institution; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid registration with the Council of Architecture (CoA), India.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience in architectural practice, including design and site execution.
• Proven track record of independently leading projects from design through completion.
• Experience with institutional, residential, or heritage/culturally sensitive projects is an advantage.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and rendering/visualization software.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and material specifications.
• Excellent design, spatial planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong project management, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for client and stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to work on-site in Bodh Gaya and manage field-level decision-making.
