Primary Responsibilities :
Branch P&L & Strategic Growth: Take complete responsibility for branch
profitability, revenue targets, operating budgets, and margin optimization.
Operational Leadership: Oversee daily functions across Sea Freight (FCL/LCL), Air
Freight, Customs House Agency (CHA), and CFS/warehousing operations.
Carrier & Agent Negotiations: Leverage industry relationships to negotiate competitive
ocean/air freight rates with shipping lines, airlines, and NVOCC networks.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, train, and mentor customer service executives,
operations staff, and sales managers to achieve operational excellence and low turnover.
Key Account & Overseas Network Management: Build and nurture direct
relationships with major corporate clients, while expanding WCA/FMC partner agent
revenues.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure strict adherence to customs regulations,
FMC rules, import-export laws, and internal process controls.
Experience Requirements:
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Annual branch revenue growth and gross profit margin percentage.
Timely collection of accounts receivable and minimization of DSO (Days Sales
Outstanding).
Operational accuracy, team productivity, and key client retention rate.
Profile Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or
International Business.
Experience: 5–10+ years in International Freight Forwarding, with at least 3–5 years in a
Branch Manager / Operations Lead role.
Domain Knowledge: Strong mastery over JNPT port operations, customs processes
(CHA), ocean/air freight pricing, and global agent network management (WCA/FMC).
Leadership & Skills: Exceptional leadership, commercial acumen, contract negotiation
skills, and strategic planning abilities.
