Civil Engineer – Railway & Civil Construction

• Supervise and execute day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites. • Handle excavation, earthwork, PCC, RCC foundations and structural works. • Supervise reinforcement, shuttering, concreting and curing activities. • Execute and monitor brick/block masonry and plastering works. • Supervise structural steel, trusses and roofing works. • Handle flooring, paving, drainage and other allied civil works. • Ensure proper alignment, levels, dimensions and slopes as per approved drawings. • Read and interpret civil, structural and architectural drawings. • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, supervisors and site manpower. • Monitor manpower, material requirements and daily work progress. • Conduct site measurements and maintain Measurement Book (MB) and quantity records. • Assist in preparation and verification of BOQ, RA Bills and final bills. • Monitor material consumption and ensure minimum wastage. • Ensure construction work is carried out as per required quality standards and specifications. • Coordinate with clients, consultants and government/railway representatives as required. • Prepare DPR, progress reports, site records and inspection documents. • Ensure compliance with site safety and HSE requirements. • Identify site-related technical issues and coordinate for timely resolution. • Ensure completion of assigned works within the specified time, cost and quality parameters.
