Primary Responsibilities :
Handle purchase activities for materials, products, and services as per company requirements.
Identify and evaluate suppliers/vendors based on price, quality, delivery, and reliability.
Request and compare quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely approvals.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/production to avoid shortages or excess stock.
Maintain proper purchase records, vendor documents, quotations, and invoices.
Follow up on quality issues, shortages, damages, and replacement materials with suppliers.
Coordinate with accounts, stores, production, and management for smooth procurement operations.
Develop and maintain good vendor relationships and identify new suppliers when required.
Ensure purchases comply with company policies, budgets, and approval procedures.
Prepare basic purchase reports, cost comparisons, and vendor performance reports.
