Primary Responsibilities :
Game Mathematics & Model Development
- Design, develop, and optimize mathematical models for slot games and casino gaming products.
- Define and calculate key game metrics such as RTP (Return to Player), Volatility, Hit Frequency, House Edge, and Bonus Mechanics.
- Create innovative mathematical frameworks that support engaging and commercially successful game experiences.
- Develop and evaluate new game concepts from a mathematical and probability perspective.
Probability & Statistical Analysis
- Apply probability theory, combinatorics, and statistical techniques to develop game mechanics.
- Analyze game behavior and payout structures to ensure compliance with design objectives.
- Perform mathematical validation of game outcomes and payout distributions.
- Conduct risk and reward analysis for various game features and bonus systems.
Simulation & Verification
- Build and execute large-scale simulations to validate game mathematics and performance.
- Verify RTP, volatility, and payout calculations through simulation testing.
- Analyze simulation results and identify discrepancies between theoretical and actual outcomes.
- Work closely with developers to resolve mathematical or implementation-related issues.
Programming & Mathematical Tools
- Develop simulation programs using Python, C, C++, Java, or similar programming languages.
- Create automated tools and scripts for mathematical analysis and testing.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and statistical tools for model validation, calculations, and reporting.
- Maintain and improve mathematical testing frameworks.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare detailed mathematical documentation for internal development teams.
- Create regulator-compliant mathematical reports and certification documentation.
- Support submissions to gaming laboratories and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure all mathematical models comply with jurisdictional gaming regulations and standards.
Collaboration & Game Development Support
- Work closely with Product Managers, Game Designers, Developers, QA teams, and Producers throughout the game development lifecycle.
- Participate in game design reviews and provide mathematical recommendations.
- Assist development teams in implementing game logic and mathematical requirements accurately.
- Support testing and certification activities during game launches.
Innovation & Research
- Research emerging gaming trends, mathematical models, and player engagement strategies.
- Contribute ideas for innovative game mechanics and bonus features.
- Stay updated with advancements in gaming mathematics, simulation techniques, and industry regulations.
- Continuously improve existing mathematical models and development processes.
Experience Requirements:
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in:
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Applied Mathematics
- Actuarial Science
- Data Science
- Computer Science with strong mathematical background
- Related quantitative disciplines
Experience
- 2–8 years of experience in Game Mathematics, Gaming Analytics, Probability Modeling, or related mathematical roles.
- Experience in casino gaming, slot games, online gaming, lottery systems, betting products, or gaming mathematics is highly preferred.
- Experience designing and validating mathematical models.
