Primary Responsibilities :
Clinical Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat gynaecological disorders and pregnancy-related conditions.
- Conduct OPD consultations and inpatient (IPD) management.
- Perform normal deliveries, assisted deliveries, and Caesarean Sections (C-Sections).
- Perform gynaecological surgeries and related procedures.
- Handle obstetric and gynaecological emergencies efficiently.
- Monitor antenatal, postnatal, and high-risk pregnancy cases.
- Provide infertility evaluation and treatment guidance.
- Counsel patients on maternal health, family planning, reproductive health, and women's wellness.
Patient Care & Coordination
- Coordinate with nursing staff, anesthetists, pediatricians, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
- Build strong patient relationships through effective communication and counseling.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, medical ethics, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings.
Experience Requirements:
Mandatory Requirements
- MS / DNB in Gynaecology & Obstetrics from a recognized institution.
- Valid State Medical Council Registration.
- Experience in handling OPD, IPD, deliveries, and surgical cases.
- Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills.
- Good communication and patient management abilities.
- Ability to manage emergency obstetric and gynaecological cases independently.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in high-risk pregnancy management.
- Experience in laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and counseling skills.
- Team-oriented approach with a patient-centric mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle critical cases.
Experience Required
- Preferred: 1–10+ years of relevant experience.
- Fresh MS/DNB candidates with strong clinical exposure may also be considered.
