Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Chef with strong expertise in the Ice Cream and Frozen Desserts industry.
The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in product development, recipe formulation, innovation, and category understanding related to ice creams and frozen desserts. The candidate will work closely with Marketing and R&D teams to develop innovative products, improve existing formulations, and support business growth initiatives.
This is an urgent replacement position, and candidates with relevant industry background will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Innovation
Develop innovative ice cream and frozen dessert products
Create and standardize recipes, formulations, and flavor concepts
Improve existing products based on market trends and customer feedback
Conduct product trials, tastings, and benchmarking activities
Research & Development
Work closely with R&D teams on product improvement initiatives
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, quality, and shelf life
Support new product launches and commercialization activities
Monitor ingredient functionality and process optimization
Market & Category Understanding
Analyze market trends and consumer preferences in the ice cream/frozen dessert category
Identify opportunities for new flavors, concepts, and product categories
Coordinate with Marketing teams for product positioning and promotions
Quality & Process Coordination
Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
Coordinate with production teams during product trials and scale-ups
Maintain documentation related to recipes, processes, and product specifications
Required Qualifications
Degree/Diploma in:
Food Technology
Dairy Technology
Culinary Arts
Related Field
Experience Required
8–10 years of experience in the Ice Cream / Frozen Desserts industry
Strong hands-on experience in product development and category management
Experience working with ice cream manufacturing or frozen dessert brands preferred
