Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and commercially strong professional for the position of Manager – Petrochemical Sales (Domestic Market) to lead and expand petrochemical business operations across India.
The ideal candidate should have strong exposure in domestic sales, trading, market development, and customer relationship management within the petrochemical and industrial chemical industry. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, handling commercial negotiations, and driving sustainable revenue growth.
The role requires a deep understanding of Indian petrochemical markets, industrial buying behavior, pricing trends, logistics coordination, and relationship management with manufacturers, traders, distributors, and industrial consumers.
Candidates with prior experience in products such as Base Oil, Bitumen, MTO, PVC Resin, Solvents, Industrial Chemicals, Petrochemical Derivatives, and Specialty Chemicals will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Develop and expand domestic sales business for petrochemical and industrial chemical products across India
- Identify and onboard new customers including manufacturers, industrial buyers, traders, distributors, and bulk consumers
- Generate business opportunities through market networking, client meetings, and relationship development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Build long-term business relationships with key accounts and strategic customers
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order execution and payment realization
Market Expansion & Client Management
- Develop market presence across multiple regions and industrial clusters in India
- Conduct regular meetings with customers to understand product requirements and business opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and retention
- Identify emerging market opportunities and new application industries for petrochemical products
- Coordinate with clients regarding supply schedules, product specifications, and delivery planning
Commercial & Negotiation Activities
- Prepare commercial offers, quotations, pricing structures, and sales proposals
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, annual contracts, and business agreements
- Monitor domestic market pricing trends, demand-supply dynamics, and competitor activities
- Work closely with procurement and management teams regarding pricing strategy and inventory planning
- Ensure commercial profitability while maintaining competitive market positioning
Coordination & Operational Support
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, operations, and finance teams for smooth order execution
- Monitor dispatch planning, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction
- Support documentation related to sales orders, invoicing, payment follow-ups, and logistics
- Resolve customer concerns related to product quality, supply delays, or commercial matters professionally
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track market developments, import trends, refinery pricing movements, and competitor activities
- Share regular market intelligence and business updates with management
- Prepare sales MIS reports, forecasts, pipeline reports, and business development updates
- Analyze market demand and identify opportunities for expansion into new territories or product categories
