Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Infrastructure & Network Lead to oversee the design, implementation, security, and maintenance of IT infrastructure. This role involves managing LAN/WAN networks, servers, cloud environments, and enterprise systems while ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

The candidate will lead technical projects, manage a team of engineers, ensure SLA compliance, and drive operational excellence. This position also plays a key role in pre-sales, solution design, vendor coordination, and team development.

 

Technical Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

Experience

  • 4+ years in infrastructure, network, or technical support roles
  • Experience in team leadership and project execution

Certifications (Preferred)

  • CCNA, Fortinet, Check Point, VMware, MCSE, or similar

Technical Expertise

  • Windows Server environments
  • Active Directory (implementation & migration)
  • Virtualization: VMware (vCenter/ESXi), Hyper-V
  • Networking devices: Fortinet, Sophos, Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco
  • Backup solutions: Veeam, Acronis
  • Cloud platforms and hybrid environments
  • Network protocols, security, and system architecture

Additional Requirements

  • Must be Tamil-speaking

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Lead and manage the infrastructure and network division.
  • Define technical strategy and drive operational excellence.
  • Manage budgets, SLAs, vendor relationships, and team performance.

2. Infrastructure Design & Deployment

  • Design scalable and secure infrastructure solutions (LAN/WAN, cloud, storage, security).
  • Participate in pre-sales activities including requirement gathering, solution design, and client presentations.
  • Prepare technical proposals, BoMs, and PoCs.
  • Oversee deployment, integration, testing, and handover of solutions.

3. Technical Issue Resolution

  • Lead troubleshooting of complex infrastructure, network, and system issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.

4. Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary escalation point for critical technical issues.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide timely updates.
  • Deliver technical guidance and ensure issue resolution within SLAs.

5. SLA & Performance Management

  • Monitor infrastructure performance, uptime, and system health.
  • Ensure SLA compliance for response and resolution timelines.
  • Identify recurring issues and implement preventive measures.

6. Vendor & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for deployments and issue resolution.
  • Work with internal teams for seamless infrastructure operations.
  • Participate in technical design reviews and risk assessments.

7. Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and train engineers and support staff.
  • Conduct technical training sessions and skill development programs.
  • Lead hiring, technical evaluations, and team expansion efforts.
  • Review team performance and provide constructive feedback.

8. 24/7 Support & Incident Management

  • Provide on-call support for critical issues.
  • Lead major incident response and post-incident analysis.
