Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor responsible for analyzing tender documents, preparing technical and commercial bids, managing project costs, and supporting contract administration. The role involves cost estimation, quantity take-offs, subcontractor evaluation, and ensuring effective cost control throughout project execution.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and measurement methods.
Good understanding of construction contracts, variations, claims, and documentation.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, and estimating software.
Ability to analyze contracts and identify deviations or deficiencies.

Good coordination with site teams and head office teams

Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Review and scrutinize tender documents to identify discrepancies and prepare clarification letters.
Prepare budget estimates and cost analysis for projects.
Perform detailed and accurate quantity take-offs.
Prepare subcontract bid documents and manage subcontractor coordination.
Evaluate technical and commercial quotations from subcontractors and conduct negotiations.
Coordinate with department and project staff regarding tender and project requirements.
Prepare material and manpower requirements for projects.
Monitor and maintain project cost control.
Identify and prepare variations and monthly project valuations.
Verify subcontract variations and payment certificates.
Conduct site visits to assess site conditions related to tenders and project requirements.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in estimation, quantity surveying, or contract administration.
Experience in civil, commercial, residential, high-rise buildings, and industrial projects.
Strong experience working with reputable contracting companies in the UAE.
Experience in high-rise building projects is mandatory.
